Many people have tried conventional modern medicine to treat arthritis but have either not had any success or they are allergic to it. Some people have no faith in western medicine and so may turn to alternative arthritis treatment. Arthritis alternative treatments include dietary supplements, exercise and things like acupuncture.

An alternative arthritis pain relief is acupuncture; this is the ancient Chinese art of stabbing you with many tiny needles! Well not stabbing, acupuncture is reportedly very successful at treating arthritis pain without conventional medicine.

Another example of alternative arthritis pain relievers are dietary supplements, these include things like devil’s claw, and primrose oil.

Your diet has a lot to do with your condition; eating foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as walnuts are great because they have anti-inflammatory properties.

There are plenty of alternative arthritis pain relievers available, just make sure that you are sensible. If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is. People will tell you anything to get hold of your hard earned cash, there are many unscrupulous people out there who don’t mind conning somebody who is desperate for a cure.

People have tried everything to look for an alternative joint pain relief drug or activity, from being stung by bees, to laughing their illness off.

The success of alternative therapies often depends on the patient’s openness to them if you have a closed mind then they are very unlikely to work.

Researches have proposed that bee venom may help arthritis sufferers, but a bee sting usually makes people feel awful! People who are allergic to bee stings have an immune response, it is this similar response that can help make people feel better.

Magnets are mysterious things; think about it, so much power held in a tiny little metal block. Magnet therapy is believed to help because the magnets are supposed to improve circulation, although many people are skeptical over whether or not this type of treatment would provide any benefits for arthritis sufferers.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to soothe the body and soul; some people have reported some success using aromatherapy and relaxation therapy in combating arthritis.

An osteoarthritis alternative treatment is the same as the other arthritis treatments. Laughter seems to make people feel better, a happy person is more likely to get better than a sad person. It’s unclear exactly why laughter makes people feel better, but there’s no denying that it does!

Copper is found in every body tissue in our bodies, along with iron it helps to build red blood cells. Wearing a pure copper bracelet is believed to be beneficial in arthritis treatment, and people have reported success when including copper in their diets. Even pets have been used to treat arthritis.

Everybody reacts to the alternative treatments differently, and a different thing seems to work for everybody. It would be a nice thought to think that there’s a treatment out there for everybody, you’ve just got to find it!
